Providing vocational training and livelihood opportunities to abandoned young women who have survived sexual abuse in Antipolo, Philippines

The United Nations Women’s Guild (UNWG) was founded in 1948 by a group of women seeking to improve the lives of children during the second World War.

UNFCU Foundation is supporting the UNWG’s efforts to establish a Water Refilling Station in Antipolo, Philippines. UNWG is working with Tahanan, Sta. Luisa (TSLI), a crisis intervention center, an NGO in the region, on this effort.

Program goals:
  • Employ survivors of sexual abuse living at the TSLI center to work at the Water Refilling Station
  • Provide approximately 500 households in the area with the water
